Week Update 4/15/18

Good evening, Corwin International families.  This is Mrs. Masciotra with the weekly update.

We would like to congratulate CIMS 7th grader, Zac Mustard, for representing CIMS in his category at the Colorado State Science Fair.

On Monday afternoon, there will be a track meet at Rye High School at 4:30pm.

Monday through Thursday, CIMS students will continue participating in Colorado Measures of Academic Success, which is annual state testing.  Electronic devices will continue to be held during testing time, so we appreciate those items being left at home as much as possible.

Thanks to parent donations, the district office and our PTO, students who are on time this week will receive a chance to win an iPod and over $300 in gift cards.  Students will have all scheduled classes on testing days, so on time, full day attendance is key.

Finally, we want to remind all families that the parking lot is not suitable for dropping off and picking up.  Many cars are pulling in before and after school and attempting to make a full loop while students and staff are walking through to the building.  Starting this week, we will be locking the parking lot before and after school to ensure the safety of students and teachers.  Please plan to utilize the loop on the west side of the building or a side street to drop off and pick up your child.

That concludes our announcements.  Have a great evening.
