Weekly Update, 9/16/18

posted Sep 16, 2018, 8:22 AM by Ryan Masciotra

Good evening, Corwin International families.  This is Mrs. Masciotra with the weekly update.

The annual PTO chocolate sales ends this weekend.  All fully unsold boxes and money is due tomorrow morning no later than 8:30am.  Keep in mind that partially sold boxes cannot be returned.  We will hold an assembly soon to recognize the top sellers.

Throughout the next week, we will be taking a peace pledge. Each student will receive a commitment bracelet, which was designed by CIMS student William Page and we will also be sharing our positive message with the community.  Be on the lookout for more information regarding the lessons and commitments we’re making as a school.

We’d like to remind all families that we are continuing to shoot for our goal of 95% attendance or better for each month of the school year.  Currently, students in 4th, 5th, and 7th graders are above the 95% average.  Let’s work through the next two weeks to meet the goal in all grades.

And, finally, with the chocolate sale winding down, we’d like to share with CIMS families that we are supporting our sister school FIMS and their 10th annual Lions Roar 5k on Saturday, October 6th.  The class at CIMS with the most registrations will earn a pizza party.  Registration information will be sent home with students and is also attached to the email version of this message.

We have a variety of athletic events taking place this week.  We wish all of the athletics the best of luck in their events.

That concludes our announcements.  Have a great evening.
