Weekly Update 10/15/17

Good evening, Corwin International families.  This is Mrs. Masciotra with your weekly update.

On Monday, it is a teacher work day and there is no school for students.  

Tuesday is parent teacher conference day and there is also no school for students.  Conferences for elementary students have been scheduled by classroom teachers.  Conferences for middle school students will be held from 12:30 to 7pm.  Please pick a time that works in your schedule to pick up report cards and other items and meet with teachers regarding your child's first quarter progress.

Wednesday and Thursday are regular school days for students.

Friday, is a staff professional development day and there is no school for students.

In other announcements:  
-As part of the "Harvest of Families Extravaganza" event scheduled for November 4th at Central High School from 9am - 12:30, we have the opportunity to participate in a coat drive. Parents are able to log parent volunteer hours for the time it takes to purchase and deliver the coats to the CIMS office. Thank you for your participation.
-If you are interested in being a team manager for a Destination Imagination team this year, it is important that you attend the training at PCC on Saturday, October 21st. Notes were sent home with your student last week. Please contact Mrs. Bratina at 719-549-7406 for more information.
-A reminder to parents of 8th grade students. If you are interested in having your student take the SAT on December 2nd, the deadline to apply on-line is October 19th. Information packets are still available in the office.

Finally, the office will be closed for intersession next week and will reopen on Monday, October 30th.  If your child is attending intersession, please register by the 18th.
