CIMS Weekly Update, 4/7/19

Good evening, Corwin International families.  This is Mrs. Masciotra with the weekly update.

Thank you to students and families for making a conscious effort to get to school on time last week for testing.  We awarded a staff member and students in each grade for perfect attendance!

Our attendance raffle will continue this week as we head into our final week of state testing.  Please note that we will begin on Monday and Tuesday right at 8:30am, so promptness is key.  Cell phones, smart watches, etc. are still not permitted during testing and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.  Also, please note that this is a regular uniform week due to state testing.

This week, we are supporting the Catholic Charities HIPPY Program.  Students are encouraged to bring in packages of diapers.  The class with the most will receive a rootbeer float party.

On Friday, PTO is sponsoring Bingo Night at the Sons of the American Legion.  Doors open at 5:30pm and bingo begins at 7pm.  Students ages 12 and up can play with an adult and a variety of baskets will be raffled off.

Finally, InterACT is a service club for all students at Corwin. The club meets on Wednesdays after school to plan projects and activities in room 129. For their April project, club members are collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. May's activity will be a visit to the Raptor Center, and in June, they will participate in Relay for Life. For more information about InterACT club, email Mrs. Richards.

That concludes our announcements.  Have a great week.
