CIMS Weekly Update, 1/6/19

Good evening, Corwin International families.  This is Mrs. Masciotra with the weekly update.  We hope that you all had a restful break and are ready to begin third quarter on a high note.  We have many exciting things happening in 2019 and we are looking forward to getting started.

On Monday, 6th graders will begin new Arts courses.  Schedules will be distributed Monday morning.  Also on Monday, practice begins for wrestling and tryouts for girls basketball.  All students must have current physicals on file to attend and participate.

On Tuesday, we will have our School Accountability meeting at 5pm in the media center.  At 5:30pm, you are invited to attend our No Bully Workshop for Parents and Guardians in the media center from 5:30 until 6pm.  There will be snacks and drawing for door prizes.  Adults will earn one hour of volunteer time for attending.  Then, our PTO meeting will take place at 6pm.

On Wednesday, 5th graders in Hutchins and Jackson-Medrano will be going to Beulah to make up for the weather cancellation before break.

Later this month, we will host our first semester awards assemblies, Art Night, a ribbon cutting for our new playground and more.  Stay tuned for more information.

That concludes our announcements.  Have a great evening.
