CIMS Weekly Update, 11-25-18

Good evening, Corwin International families.  This is Mrs. Masciotra with the weekly update.

We hope that you all have had an enjoyable holiday break.  We’d also like to thank all of the parents, students, and Mrs. Pineda-Fuentes and Mrs. Hutchins for their dedication to the CIMS entry in the Parade of Lights.  Way to represent CIMS!

On Monday and Tuesday of this week, we will be hosting representatives from the International Baccalaureate Organization as they evaluate our Primary Years Programme in 4th and 5th grades.

On Wednesday, students in Barger  and Jackson-Medrano will be going on a field trip to the Steelworks Museum.

On Thursday, students in Hutchins and Nichols will be going on a field trip to the Steelworks Museum.

We regretfully inform all MYP wrestlers that wrestling practice is postponed until further notice. Please plan on starting the season in January. If this changes we will inform you.

Corwin International is giving back to our community by collecting new or gently used books for the Pueblo Child Advocacy Center from November 26th-December 6th. The PCAC helps children who are suspected victims of abuse. They appreciate all donations, but are especially in need of chapter books for older children. We appreciate all of your support!

Finally, with the cold weather in full swing, we want to remind parents and students that shorts are no longer permitted until after spring break.

That concludes our announcements.  Have a great evening.
