Parent volunteer hour letters were sent home with students on Friday. Please ask your student for your family's letter. If you see a discrepancy between the hours listed on the letter and your parent booker account, please print a copy of your parent booker report and send it to the IB Coordinator with your telephone number listed on the report. Please do not send to parent booker technical support.
On Tuesday, Basket Ball tournament coordinators will meet at 6pm in the media center. We still need a concessions coordinator. This is an important job. Also parents should start to watch for jobs in parent booker. Various jobs will begin to be scheduled in the next week or so. Also, a flyer will go home with your child this week. If your child plays on a team, or if he or she would like to put a team together to register, please use the flyer to share.
Thursday night, there will be a World Travel Club meeting for MYP students who are traveling to Europe this spring. This meeting is a makeup meeting for the one that should have been held last week. The meeting is scheduled for 5:30pm and should last 45 minutes. Again, apologies for the late cancelation of this meeting last week.
Friday will be a PTO sponsored movie activity. Students will be able to purchase movie snacks including popcorn, candy bars, and water. Each item will cost $1. We also need candy bar donations for the event.
Parents. Please be reminded that the front parking lot should not be used as a drop off loop before or after school. This poses multiple safety threats including backing up traffic, creating hazards for those entering the school, and others. The gate will once again be locked starting at 7:50a.m. Please do not park in front of the gate, or block other cars. Our SRO may be left no other option but to issues citations if parking continues to be problematic.
Please check through parent portal your student's fee balance. If there is a balance please come to the office and pay the outstanding balance this week between Monday and Thursday from 7:30 -4:00.
Pueblo City Schools is now requiring each parent is to have their own unique parent portal access. If you do not have this access please come to the office with picture ID as soon as possible. In addition, please do not use your child’s access in place of getting your own access.
Parents should be aware that the School Choice window, and Magnet School enrollment window will open on January 5 thru February 17, 2015. These windows are for use when applying to a new school. Students who are already enrolled at CIMS or FIMS do not need to enter the lottery again.
