This month Corwin International will be talking about poverty and its impact internationally. In particular we will discuss the topic of hunger and food. As an IB school we encourage students to take action to support a cause. While raising support is only one of many was to take action, this week we will be collecting cans for our annual canned food drive. This effort will benefit local organizations and people in need in our community. In addition we encourage parents to explore the Hungry Planet Videos on You Tube. Next week we will collect pennies to support an international cause.

There will be a Veteran’s Day assembly for all students at 2:00 in the gymnasium on Tuesday November 11th.
Finally, I want to take this opportunity to tell parents how much the teachers at Corwin International really do care about your kids and their futures. We know that our high expectations require more of students. We also know that the IB philosophy means being perplexed and facing challenges that are not easily solved, which can be uncomfortable. However, the greatest sense of accomplishment comes from seeing things through on the biggest challenges. Have a wonderful week!
